"Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends"

Judgement

Never judge a man's actions until you know his motives

-Unknown

I thought of this and found this quote after a discussion with a close friend of mine and the more I think about it, they were right.  Why do you send a loved one flowers to work?  Is it because you TRULY want them to have a great day, or is it that they want other people to think "how great of a guy I am!".  There is always a motive for an action.  The motive may be that you want to help make things easier for that person, or that you feel guilt for past actions, or simply, just to look good.

Also, why do we pass judgements?  Who are we to judge anyone or any action?  The last 4 months of my life, I have faced this head on.  If someone made a choice that I either didn't like or agree with, I judged them as being foolish or ignorant.  Why?  Because I wouldn't have made that decision?  Does that make them wrong?  Before the last 4 months, I openly judged people and their decisions.  Not talking behind their backs, but I would question them face to face and do everything I could to persuade them to my beliefs.  Now, thru the help of my support team, I don't pass judgement.  I HAVE NOT WALKED IN THEIR SHOES, so how can I possibly tell them what is right or wrong in THEIR lives.  There are too many people around myself and my close friends that do this.  They past judgement on us as if their lives are wonderful and with no issues or problems.  If you are one of them, you should work on yourself and not judge others by their past and present actions.  You don't know what they are thinking, or what they have been thru.

Once again, never judge a man's actions until you know his motives.

Tonight, I am picking up the kids after work.  We always have so much fun.  The twins are very active and always willing to learn new things.  Audrey loves drawing, writing, coloring, and playing games on the computer.  She is always helpful and helps Daddy when she can.  Alex loves playing video games.  He is really good at them.  I am amazed how he can play the PS3 so well with all the different buttons and controllers.  He is such a good boy.  Allie, the baby, is smart beyond her years.  She carries great conversation and is so loving to me and my friends and family.  Still working on going to the bathroom on the big potty.  She is telling me now when she has to go and has been dry the last couple of mornings.  It's getting time to wear big girl underwear.

We are always working on making good decisions.  Even though they make plenty of bad ones, we always discuss why that happened and what we can do better the next time.  It is a constant learning process, but as long as we make progress, I am pleased.  All 3 are so affectionate to me.  Even though it is hard to give them all the attention they demand from me, I do my best when I have them and will always work on improving this.  I love them with everything I have, and I am finally learning to love myself.

My best friend...

"When I'm deep inside of me
don't be too concerned.
I won't ask for nothin' while I'm gone.
But when I want sincerity
tell me where else can I turn.
Because you're the one I depend upon."
